Q: How long will it take to fill my prescription? A: Only 5 minutes! In just 5 minutes we interpret and enter the prescription data into our computer. We check your medicine for drug-drug interactions, drug-condition interactions, and verify appropriate dosing. We then bill your insurance company online line via telephones & modems, count out the medication and label with appropriate cautionary stickers. Q: So why is it then that I am told sometimes it will be a 15-20 minute wait? A: It usually comes down to how many prescriptions have come into the pharmacy prior to yours. We accept prescriptions from physicians and nurses throughout the day over the telephone, by fax, and left on our after hours answering machine. |
