Q: Why do I sometimes get only part of a prescription?

A: In short - we didn't have enough of the medication in the pharmacy to fill the prescription completely. Why this can happen can be due to a few reasons, but we will be able to have the balance due to you by the next day. We order and receive product everyday except Saturday and Sunday.

One of the factors that adds difficulty in maintaining higher inventory levels are due to the high price of the medications. Add to this the fact that the patient pays a copay which covers only a fraction of the price of the drug. It is not unusual to have a medication that cost the pharmacy $300+ dollars and when we need to purchase the medicine before we actually collect payment from the insurance company.

If none of this makes any sense just remember we will have the balance of your prescription by the next business day and we always strive to fill 100% of your prescription the first time!
